WSJD lives, breathes, and thrives through the work of its volunteers. We look for your energy, teamwork, and passion. WSJD has several opportunities for you to give back to the community.

Accessibility Services
- Assist in locating interpreters and captioners for WSJD events upon request
ASL High Holy Days
- Assist as ushers for services
- Participate as a reader or leader of services
- Assist in pick up and return of the Torah for services
Caring Committee
- Bring a meal: shiva, new baby, homebound member
- Provide occasional rides: shopping errands, medical appointments, WSJD events.
- Assist with grocery shopping as needed when other delivery options are limited/not possible.
- Visit members either in person or virtually as needed - in nursing homes, rehab centers, or at home after an illness
Fundraising
- Assist in acquiring sponsors for WSJD events
- Assist in planning a fundraiser
Programs
- Assist in developing a program for WSJD
- Plan for or serve on a Food Committee of a WSJD event.
- Assist in handling registration on day of event
- Photograph WSJD events to record history; photo credit will be given
Social Media & Tech
- Help share items of Jewish interest on WSJD’s Facebook page
- Assist as Zoom moderator for a WSJD sponsored event
- Assist in planning for and compiling WSJD eNews
- Assist in updating the website (i.e. adding new content, updating information)
